This auction two (2) CDs containing the last two interviews ever given by Jim Morrison of The Doors.
These have never been commercially released!
I was given a few of these from a friend of mine who retired as a deejay from a very prominent NYC rock radio station. Each interview is on its individual CD, so you get two (2) CDs, each is marked RADIO ONLY - NOT FOR SALE.
One was recorded in 1970 with Howard Smith -- this was Howard's
second
interview with Morrison.
The other, recorded in 1971, was with Ben Fong Torres -- it was, as fate would have it, Morrison's LAST interview.
These are both AUDIO CDs, not VIDEO. There was never any video shot of his last two interviews.
Each is close to one hour in length.
