1990s Rare New Unused Cross Rolled Gold Gent's Pen/Pencil Set
In early 1970s Cross pens set up their first ever factory overseas - in County Galway,
Ireland,
to produce their full range of writing instruments for all markets outside of the US.
Their Cross "Townsend" range were very popular especially the rolled gold models.They unfortunately closed in 2000 and concentrated production in their Rhode Island plant. All Irish made pens and pencils were stamped "Made in Ireland" on the cap (instead of Made in USA) and are much sought after today.
I have just acquired a small number of 1990s New Unused Old Stock of Cross pens and pencils. They are in Gold (1/20th 10 Kt Rolled Gold), Silver (solid .925 Sterling silver), Classic Black, and Chrome. All come with their original case, lifetime guarantee document, and outer sleeve. They are all in brand new condition, in full working order with No logos,inscriptions or marks - exactly as they left the (Irish) factory.
I only have two or three sets of each part of the range - so I am selling these individually in a 10 day auction starting at a opening bid, with shipping worldwide. This is now your chance and when they are gone - that's it!
