Description

Set of 2 vintage hand held ladies fans.  I presume these are Japanese.  The black one has black painted ribs with silk mount that has little hand painted white and blue flowers.  It has a pivot at the bottom that is brass and a black loop to hang.  Measures 9 1/4" not including loop.  It is 13 1/2" wide when open.  One of the ribs has come unglued from the mount but is easy fix. The other fan has blue guards, beautiful delicately cutwork bamboo sticks.  The ribs are covered with a gray green silk that is hand painted in a beautiful Asian motif with a bird, branches and flowers. Measures 8 1/4" long and 14 1/4" wide when opened. It is in excellent condition and has a little metal loop at bottom to hang.  Sold as a pair.
