Vintage Japanese Sado Gold & Silver Ceremonial Sensu Folding Fan: Mar21-CC
These are from of a large collection of vintage fans we have acquired that were stock from an old fan shop in Kyoto. These partiucular ones are the small, formal type of fans often used in Sado Tea Ceremony, etc. They are gold on one side and silver on the other and the struts are lacquered in glossy black
. They are unused in their original boxes and the have been stored for many years.
They measures
about 11” or 28cm across when open and is about 7" or 18cm long when closed. This is for one fan but we have two identical ones available from this listing. See photos for other details…
