These posters are from two rare, out of print poster collections printed in 1970 and 1971. "London Arts Gallery" and "Nithya" are on two sides of the same poster, and are priced slightly higher since they are reversible and are some of the finest examples of the art of Peter Max. The flip side of the poster is shown in the photograph after the main photograph for each listing, which you can view if you double-click on the photo of the item and then scroll to the next photograph. The one currently listed is in very good condition except for some minor staining on the bottom of the white border of the London Arts Gallery side. The staining on the Nithya side is more noticeable- priced at only .
The poster entitled "Contemporary Arts Center - See For Yourself" is 32" x 16" and was originally folded in thirds (it will be shipped folded in thirds and rolled). The one currently listed is in very good condition and is priced at . The back of this poster has a cartoon about Peter Max entitled "Mister Mouse meets Peter Max," which is an interesting period piece and worthy of display itself. A few of these posters were printed slightly off center. The backs of some of the posters have a small caption describing the next poster in the collection, as the posters were originally bound together in sequence. A few of the posters have other text, photographs, or art on the back. Since "Atman" is a black and white line drawing and has colored artwork on the reverse side, it may be slightly visible through the paper when held up to the light, with some copies showing through slightly even when on a flat surface. Posters can be shipped flat upon request, but a couple have been bent in the past by USPS when shipped this way, causing some creasing damage to the posters, which is why I switched to shipping them in tubes.
